Aeroplane Reappeared After Missing For 47 Years

Found this interesting mystery so I decided to post and share it out…

In 1946 a Lockheed Constellation went missing from a flight from Rio de Janeiro in Havanna. The plane landed in December 1993, at the Bogota airport in Colombia. The plane came in totally unannounced, and almost came into collision with another airplane whilst landing. Security went to the scene, and made a stunning discovery: On board there were 36 skeletons.

How could a plane that went missing in 1946 reappear in 1993, make a safe landing, to find that all crew and passengers were nothing more than skeletons?

"the greatest mystery in the history of flight. A mystery that has become greater, since it is old Lockheed Constellation aircraft which flew in 1946 and on board which were found in 1993, landing, hot cup of coffee and lit cigarettes Old Gold brand , long extinct. The passenger seats were newspapers on the day of 21/09/1946, which were yellowed by time and still smelled of print."

The coffee was still hot, the papers were marked 21/09/1946!!

Relationship Before Marriage

Nowadays, we often hear in the news that celebrities who got married not long ago are divorcing. That doesn't only happen in the entertainment world but happens in each and every part of the world. And this causes the divorcing rate to increase rapidly every year. Everything happen for a reason, in this case, that would be the relationship before marriage. To be honest, I'm not quite sure about what are the relationships before marriage, maybe because I've never been to one, so I kinda googled it out. So these are the things that couples should DO AND DON'T:

DO: Make sure you can resolve conflicts, feeling closer to your partner. All couples argue, but happier couples end up feeling closer and more understood after an argument. Make sure you understand each other’s way of dealing with anger, and that you are comfortable with it.

Don’t: Expect that your partner is going to change and learn conflict resolution after marriage.  If your partner is a bad communicator and uncomfortable with conflict or anger prior to marriage, it is not going to change after marriage.

Do: Talk about sex and intimacy openly. Prior to marriage your partner and you should be able to have a discussion about sex and intimacy without feeling anger, shame or indifference.

Don’t: Expect that if your partner is addicted to porn or flirting, or lacks sexual boundaries prior to marriage, that it will change after marriage. Don’t expect a partner to all of a sudden become more sexual after marriage if they lack interest prior to marriage.

Do: Talk about money, saving, and a financial plan for your marriage. A joint checking and savings account is wise because it lends itself to working together for the same goal.  A monthly money discussion is a priority for married couples.

Don't: Go into marriage not knowing one another’s spending pattern. Your partner is not going to change after marriage. If they are irresponsible with making money, spending money and saving money prior marriage, it is going to be difficult and I would step back before saying “I Do.

Life In UKM

Well, time flies and I've been in UKM for almost 2 months already. I'm starting to adapt to the university life and learning to be more freedom. I would say I have some bitter sweet experiences. In these past 2 months, I've met a lot of new friends both from my college and from my faculty, all were great people although many are from different backgrounds and races. The seniors are friendly and amazing, guiding me step by step cause I was so blur and didn't know what to do when I first got in. Not to forget my lecturers, they are very friendly but some are teaching a bit too fast though.

From the first week, we were forced to sleep at 2.30am and waking up at 5.30am everyday, due to the all-day long activities from Minggu Mesra Pelajar. When we ask some of our seniors, do we have to do this every week? they sincerely said "No". But, the torture continues for the next 2 weeks cause the activities in the college were just too darn a lot! Plus, we had internet problems on the second week; water crisis for the third week; then we even had electricity problems (wow!). All these just seriously mind blown me. When it comes to studies, basically every class is like a race. Some lecturers are literally flying in the 3 hours class, 1 chapter per day, my god! So there are really a lot to do to cope up with the lecturer.

And these are my few bitter sweet experiences from the past 2 months I had in UKM. I hope it would be a lot easier and less stressful for the upcoming days. Please let me enjoy my uni lfe!!

Importance of Electricity

During my third or fourth week in UKM, disaster struck--the whole was out of electricity!! It wasn't any ordinary blackout that last for only few hours, this blackout lasted for days. Some faculties like FEP didn't have any electricity for days and has interrupted our class causing a few classes to be postponed. Fortunately, our college has to bear this torture only for a few hours but other colleagues were just bad. During that period of time only I stressful thought arose like "How am I supposed to charge my phone and laptop? and "how am I gonna stay here tonight?"
Then only I realised the importance of electricity...

Electricity is the key component to modern technology and without it most of the things that we use every day simply could not work, and would never have bee n created. Our mobile phones, our computers, the Internet, our heating systems, our televisions, our light bulbs - nearly everything in the home would be completely different. There would be completely different systems put in place in the home to ensure that we can remain warm, and to ensure that we can live properly every day.

Imagine how different things would be today without the Internet. The World Wide Web has had a huge effect on our lives. It has made everybody more aware of the world they live in, and it’s allowed them to learn about our surroundings and know more about how near enough everything within modern society works. It is our gateway for knowledge, and allows us to find out nearly anything within a matter of seconds, hence, electricity has made us an incredibly intelligent and aware society.

It’s also allowed us to become healthier. Without electricity, hospital equipments would not work like the X-ray. Electricity, can saves lives and allows people to live longer. So not only are we are more aware and intelligent society but we have become much healthier.

Social Media

I'm sure almost everyone in this world have their own social media profiles, especially teenagers nowadays. But, I have a friend who doesn't have any not even facebook, well he's one of a kind. With the increasing of various models of smartphones, social media is getting more and more popular among people. Social media somehow became a necessary for people. When one talks bout social media, the most commonly heard will be Facebook. Of course, they are numerous types of social medias include the famous ones like Twitter, Instagram, Foursquare and Blog. I personally like these few maybe because I have often use them.
Although, everyone is directly involve with social medias, they have pros and cons within them...

PROS
Allow people to stay connected
Having social medias allow people to stay connected among their friends and the world. Through social medias, people can connect with their friends who are staying at some other parts of the world far away from them. Like Facebook, it allows users to chat with family and friends within clicks away, all they have to is just type and send. Messages or information will be sent within seconds no matter where you are at.

Advertisement for business
Other than allowing people to stay connected, social medias also allow entrepreneur to market their products online. Businessmen can open their own page to market and sell their products on social medias like Facebook, after all it's all free! Users can also share posts and pages to their friends, and this is one of the most effective way of promoting products. Even the process of selling and buying is so much more convenient because everything is online.

CONS

Face-to-face Communication Skills Endangered
Increasing popularity of social medias has made people using them as a medium of communication. Although it is the fastest way to have a conversation, over-using them may neglect  face-to-face communication. This can be seen when younger generation are now lack of communication skills.

Vulnerable to Hacking
Since there are so many people using social medias, so hackers have their attention on these users to breach their privacy. They can hack into accounts to steal private information of corporate companies. Some can read private conversations between users, then they spread it out on the internet. Some even send virus links to people, those who are not aware will accidentally press on it, and that might be the end of their computer.

TIESTO'S RAVE PARTY

Tiesto, one of the greatest DJ of all time, and he didn't disappoint me at all when came to Kuala Lumpur for the second.time. Few years back, when he was still the world No.1 DJ, he came to Malaysia for the Thirst event. I regretted cause I missed out Tiesto in action back then, it was all because of my exam. This year, he just released his brand new album called "Club Life: Volume 3". His brand new mixes was so good, he decided make a world tour featuring all his new tracks. And on 5th of October, it's Malaysia's turn, of course, I wouldn't let this chance slip away like what happened few years ago, so I bought the ticket.

Although the ticket costs around RM150, I didn't regret getting it. His mixes were so good, all his songs have such great drops, everyone just went MAD!
The shows starts at 7.30pm, but Tiesto's set was only starting at 12am, so before his set some other DJs took turns to spin on the stage. That include Malaysia's well know DJ duo, Goldfish & Blink and some other Djs from overseas like Danny Avilla. Too bad I missed out Goldfish & Blink, there were too many people rushing in, it took us at least 1 hour just to get ourselves into Sepang Circuit.
Then, when it reaches 12am, it was Tiesto's turn. During that time, the total attendance was reaching up to 20k, it was so crowded and the people were just crazy. Me and my friends were just standing right in front of the stage and speakers were mad. I can literally feel my leg's hair bouncing off when the beats drop.
He played most of his songs from the new album like "Take Me", "I Love It", and of course his famous tracks from the past like "Maximal Crazy". He even played various kinds of genre that night like Trance, Trap, House and Hardstyle. And that's why no doubt he is one of the best Dj in the world.

After plating and mixing for 2 hours, Tiesto's set came to and end at around 2am. Everyone was so exhausted and dehydrated, some even straight away lay down on the floor.
It was an extremely tired night and I only got home at 5am, I feel it was all totally worth it as long as I enjoyed the night.
Thank You Tiesto!!

The Blog That Inspired me

I knew the existence of blogs quite a long time ago but I've never been interested in getting one for myself. Instead of getting one, I often read some other peoples blogs and there are some which are really interesting till you cant stop reading them. Like other guys, things get interesting when it comes to technology or cars, so blogs about these things are more to my type.

There's one blog which I like the most and at the same time inspire me the most. And there's none other than PaulTan Automotive News. (http://paultan.org/).

Paul Tan, he is a Malaysian blogger. He is an automotive journalist who writes about cars and the automotive industry in his blog. It is known that the term paultan is the second most frequently searched person on Google by Malaysian Google users, according to Google's 2007 Malaysia Year-End Zeitgeist.

What I like about his blog is definitely because it's all about cars, of course. The news he posted on his blog were always first-handed and exclusive, it's literally like he's the first person to get to know the news first. I can imagine the hardwork and effort he has given in commiting to his blog. On the other hand, I feel that he is someone who is unbiased in his work. He provides news from Proton to Bentley, no matter how expensive or how luxurious the cars are. He doesn't hide nor criticise other brands' cars.

So this is how Paul Tan inspire me on writing blogs, I hope he continues on writing great posts and news in the future.

SQUASH-ing!!

I was involve in squash starting since year 3 also at the age of 9. If you ask me how I get involve in this sport that few would learn to play, I would say I joined them in the"buta-buta" way. During that time, the school made it compulsory for students to have co-curriculum activities. As you can see I was just 9 years old, and I was told that there's a sport called squash, so what I did was just put my name in it! Then, my siblings were all involved in this game. And that's how we involved in squash for the next few years. After playing for a few years, I started representing my state in squash tournaments (it was just luck and I'm not that good), I've been to numerous of states to participate in tournaments and my brother even crossed the international border to paricipate in Hong Kong Open.

Now, I'm going to explain briefly about the rules of the game cause this is a sport few will know.
Some informations are collected from some squash sites.

Squash Rules

The basic rules of squash are fairly simple. First the player spins his/ her raquet, the winner gets to choose which side they want to serve from and alternates sides until they lose a point. The "spinning" is basically spinning the racquet, with one player guessing whether the racquet will land up or down based on the direction of the logo at the end of the grip. The ball can hit any number of walls ( i.e sidewall, backwall ) but must eventually hit the front wall before bouncing on the floor. A rally ( the exchange of shots ) ends when one of the following occurs:
  • The ball bounces twice
  • The ball hits the tin
  • The ball is hit outside the out lines

Interference resulting in a stroke, i.e. point to the obstructed player.
The serve is done by having at least one foot in the service box, then hitting the ball to the front wall, above the service line and having it bounce in the opposite quarter-court. The receiver can stand anywhere as long as they do not interfere with the server. Only one serve is allowed. There is no second serve as in tennis.

Your opponent has the option of volleying return your serve before it hits the ground. After hitting the front wall first, the ball may hit any other number of walls before landing in the opponent’s quarter court. However, a serve is illegal if it hits any sidewall before hitting the front wall! Following the serve, the ball can hit any number of sidewalls before hitting the front wall.
The red lines mark the out of bounds of the court. So all shots must be below the lines. If the ball touches the line it is considered out!

Scoring is to 11 , where every rally is a point, regardless of who served. So if you serve and lose the rally, then your opponents get a point and gets to serve. The professionals play best of five games ,scoring to 11. Where the score reaches ten all, the game will be won by two clear points (which will be expressed as 11-10, irrespective of the actual score ).

Some not-so-obvious rules of squash are you can not carry the ball or hit the ball twice, but you can make several attempts at striking the ball as long as only contact is made once.

These are some quick briefings about the squash game, some may feel that it's a boring sport but once u play, no doubt you will get addicted to it. Plus, now we have a current  Women's World Champion, Datuk Nicol Ann David, and I hope squash can be a popular sports among the people like badminton or football.
